About The Thermal Club

The Thermal Club is a private motorsport community where members keep garage villas beside more than five miles of track. It hosted IndyCar’s $1 million Challenge in 2024.

Members and guests here entertain often, especially during the January-to-April season. A private chef at home is the easiest way to host a post-track-day dinner, a season-opening party or a visit from family without a restaurant reservation.

What we cook for The Thermal Club homes

After-track dinners. Relaxed family-style spreads or plated courses on your patio.
Season parties and holidays. Thanksgiving, holiday gatherings, New Year’s and season-opening dinners.
Visiting family and friends. A personal chef for several meals during a long weekend or week.
Tournament and event weeks. Dinners for guests in town for The American Express, the BNP Paribas Open, Coachella and Stagecoach. See event dining.

Questions about a private chef at The Thermal Club

How does Tien get through the gate?

Just add Tien’s Table to your guest list the way you would for any guest or vendor. He checks in at the gate and arrives with everything he needs.

Is Tien’s Table affiliated with the club?

No. Tien cooks in private residences within the community at the homeowner’s or guest’s invitation. Club dining rooms and club catering are run by the club itself.

Will you cook in a rental home here?

Yes. Vacation and seasonal rentals inside The Thermal Club are some of our favorite kitchens. If it has a working kitchen, we can cook there.

How far ahead should we book?

Two to four weeks for most dinners. During peak season (January to April) and tournament weeks, book as early as you can. Call or text 916-479-0287.
