Growing up in California’s Sacramento River Delta, Tien learned to cook alongside his father while both parents worked long hours to build a life for the family. At home, Vietnamese traditions blended naturally with All-American cooking, always finished with a subtle French influence passed down through his father’s side.
He worked his way from dishwasher to district manager in a national restaurant group, then returned to his roots in 2018 as Banquet Chef at the award-winning ACE Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs. Today he cooks privately, and he comes to you: Modern California cuisine shaped by Vietnamese heritage and French, Italian and Latin American influences, served in your home, rental, or place of business.
